Kavout Joining Create33 by Madrona Venture Group

Moving day! Today the Kavout team moved into our new office in downtown Seattle. It’s an exciting day for all of us on many fronts.

One floor below Madrona Venture Group, Pacific Northwest’s leading venture capital firm, Create33 was designed to be an epicenter for Seattle startups. Aimed to help accelerate early-stage companies that have demonstrated product/market fit, Create33 have developed many programs that foster business connections and networking.

Kavout is honored to be selected to join a dozen firms, covering consumer applications, gaming, augmented reality, biotech and others hosted by Create33. As a financial technology company, Kavout brings to this community technical depth in AI, machine learning and deep learning, capital market know-how, and connections bridging a global community of institutional investors and leaders.

FINx – Seattle’s FinTech Hub

The use of financial technology is an inevitable force driving the next global economy, touching a wide range of areas in capital markets, wealth management, commercial banking, blockchain innovations, and other financial services.

In a recent forum, hosted by Madrona, leading financial services firms and early-stage companies such as Kavout, discussed a key ingredient for the future of financial services – engineering talent. Accessing to talent needs to advance at the same speed as innovation, asserted by Craig Mundie, former Chief Research and Strategy Officer at Microsoft.

Thanks to Amazon, Microsoft, Expedia, and many more local companies, Seattle is a force to be reckoned with its dominance in cloud, mobile, and machine learning. JP Morgan’s fintech team has grown to be more than 70 people in Seattle since 2018. Stripe selected Seattle for its #2 global engineering center. Capital One establishes a Seattle engineering center by acquiring Madrona company Sharebuilder. And the list goes on.

We are excited to be part of this wave, building a fintech company with a growing ecosystem around us.
